Cellular respiration happens in both plants and animals and is how we create energy. Our bodies take glucose and oxygen into our cells then with three stages, glycolysis, kreb cycle, and cell transport chain, to turns it into carbon dioxide, water, and ATP energy. C6H12O6 + 6O2 -----> 6CO2 + 6H2O + ATP
When it comes to Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration they are complete opposites. What goes into Cellular Respiration, oxygen and glucose, is what you end up with after Photosynthesis. What goes into Photosynthesis, carbon dioxide and water, is what you end up with after Cellular Respiration.
CELLULAR RESPIRATION
Photosynthesis is the process where plants get there food. They take in carbon dioxide, water and light energy into different parts of the plant. In the chloroplasts an organelle that is in plant cells, it takes in the light energy to start the process. When done it turns into glucose and oxygen. C6H12O6 + 6O2 ----> 6CO2 + 6H2O
