Strength doesn't always come in the form of a super power.
An Unexpected Trip
We are going to New York City for the SUMMER!
The twins, 14, live with their single mom in Ohio. They don't know much about their dad, except that he was very adventurous and that things just didn't work out between him and their mom. Casandra, also known as Sandy, is the oldest twin by 2 min. She is a fashionista type of girl and is very determined. Charlie, also known as Char, is very laid-back, but can be strong and comforting when needed.
Come on, it will be fun!
This is the worst! If we stayed home I would be painting nails with Jennie right now!
Sandy's and Char's daily lives include going to school in the morning at 8:00 am. and then going home at 3:15. At school they talk to their friends, Jennie and Cole. After school they do their homework and then go on their own devices. Sandy enjoys school most of the time, but cant wait to hang out with Jennie all summer. Charlie would rather play video games and sleep all day, which is what he plans to do during the summer.
Meeting the Sandman
Their mother has just surprised the twins with a trip to New York for the whole summer, and they aren't too happy. Though they would love to go to New York someday, they already had their summers planned out.
They are on a plane approaching New York, and neither of the twins is really excited. Both of the twins have started feeling weird things happening to them. Casandra has started being able to control her dreams and when she thinks about something a lot, other people start dreaming about it. Charlie has noticed sand moving in weird ways around him. They have both seen themselves float a little, but they dismiss it as their imagination for now.
This might be fun, but I would still rather be playing video games.
After the board off the plane they stop by a diner to eat. They just finished ordering when the twins hear there mom gasp. They see her looking at a man that looks a lot like them. Their mom and the strange man just stare at each other for what seems like eternity. Then the man asks, "Hello Shelly," and then he asks "Do they have it?" The mom answers,"I'm not sure," then she turns to the twins and says, 'Twins, meet your father."
