  • There once was a mighty mighty eagle named Ethan who lived in a dense forest. He was resting on a tree branch one beautiful afternoon. He was so big an strong, he never needed help from anybody.
  • Falling Action
  • Ethan hadn't noticed but a group of hunters had been watching him. Before he could react, a net had been thrown at Ethan. He collapsed on the floor struggling to get free from the restraints. But then a trap had gone off that made a cage fall on top of Ethan. Already hearing the hunter's footsteps coming closer, Ethan knew he was done for and gave up.
  • Resolution
  • Little did Ethan know, a curious onlooker had been watching the scene unfold. A mouse ran over to the cage and asked the eagle if he needed any help. Ethan turned and looked over at the mouse with a saddened expression. "What can thou do? Your just a little mouse"Ethan cried. The mouse, hearing the hunters come closer, needed to act fast. The mouse put his tail through the keyhole and unlocked the cage with ease. The eagle ran out with tears of joy. Ethan was forever grateful. Letting go of his ego, Ethan told the mouse that he would repay him someday.

  • HELP!
  • A few days later, the mouse wandered about, looking for something to quench his thirst. But from behind the rock, a snake was looking for dinner and saw the mouse. The mouse realized he was in great danger
  • Coincidentally, Ethan had been flying over the watering hole and spotted the mouse that saved his life. As fast as he could, Ethan landed. He placed himself in front of his little pal . The snake, noticing they were friends, he apoligized for the inconvenience and scurried away. Slightly disappointed his afternoon snack had been ruined
  • The mouse, half drained from running in circles, thanked the kind Eagle. "What's your name by the way? The mouse asked. "Ethan" he replied, "and you?" "Just call me Tiny" said the little rodent. From that day on they had been best friends. Returning favors back and forth. If it weren't for the mouse's kind actions, who knows what would've happened to Ethan if Tiny hadn't helped. Even if sometimes it is hard to be kind, you may need some kindness too someday.
