Comic strip #1-The Monkey's Paw-External conflict
This storyboard does not have a description.
WE CAN USE THE PAW TO GET HERBERT BACK!!
I won't willfully waste a wish on this wickedness!
WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF IT BEFORE!
FOR PETE'S SAKE, GET THE PAW!!!!!!!!!
The type of conflict demonstrated is external conflict. It is character versus character, in this case, Mr. White and Mrs. White. I used alliteration to show how Mr. White was very much against the idea of using the paw to get Herbert back. I also used an idiom, "For Pete's sake" to show how Mrs. White desperately wanted to use the wish. In this example, Mr. White is the protagonist because he is sane and Mrs. White is the antagonist because she has gone hysterical and insane.
