  • He was the prince of the state Qin and he started the Qin dynasty!
  • The Great wall of China was created from the 14th century to the 17th century. The wall  was thought of by emperor Qin Shi Huang.
  • the wall was created to prevent barbarian invasions to take place. The Wall has been through many wars and tragedies, but it has been standing there for hundreds of years, century to century.
  • Only 1/3 of the wall still stands because of the many wars there were
  • While the Wall was being built, about 400,000 men have died and it has been said that the bodies were buried over in the construction of the wall. the wall was mostly made of earth and stone and stretched into the Gansu province. 
  • while the wall was being built, the emperor ordered that the other walls that were built to be joined in with the great wall, and make the entire wall altogether go on for 3,000 miles. The wall is 15 to 30 feet tall. 
  • though there were many battles, and much of the wall has been destroyed, the wall is still very long and you can see it in space!
  • After the death of the emperor, many tribes took over northern China, and after that another dynasty started, and people have repaired the wall and even extended it
  • The wall has been through a lot, and it had even been taken over! but at least it is getting repaired...
  • This wall must have been huge back then before it was destroyed!
  • At the time of the construction of the wall, China was split into kingdoms. The emperor ordered that some of the earlier fortifications to be destroyed and the others to be used. General Meng Tian was the leader in the making of the Great wall of China.
  • Much of the wall was built along the himalayan mountains!
