  • A SMART goal is a goal that is specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.

  • OK, so it can't be vague. It has to be to the point.
  • The "S" in smart stands for specific goal. Meaning that your goal has to be specific.
  • Meaning that you can track progress and make sure that it is possible to complete?
  • The "M" and "A" stand for Measurable and Achievable.
  • Yes! Exactly
  • Finally, "R" and "T" meaning realistic and time-bound. Your goal has to be realistic and you have to have an end date to where you actually achieve your goal.
