- Will I ever get home safe again?
- Then, all of a sudden, I started getting hot again, and once again, I evaporated into water vapor and rose into the sky. I thought to myself, would I ever get home safe again?
- Where am I?
- All the other water droplets and I had turned into tiny ice crystals again. We were all crushed together, and then finally, I started getting really cold and we all fell. We had turned into snow and were falling towards a glacier!
- After not to long, I started getting warm, and melted back into a water droplet. I was back to the soil for a bit until I started filtering through it. I think I just became groundwater and was going through runoff!
- I'm back where I started! Now I can go home!
- It felt like a roller coaster as I flowed underground. I think since this time I'm runoff, I'm going to be collected in a body of water. Then, I landed in what felt like a big pillow. I looked around, and I was in a lake!
- There was a heavy current in the lake, and the lake started getting thinner and thinner. Was I still in a lake? Then it came to me! I was in the river I started in! I looked around for a way to get out. The only way was by the deer that started the whole process. I started going over when once again, I was in the deer! This time though, I spent many hours in the deer.
- After lots of time passed, and I thought I was going to die, I was excreted into the soil! I thought that I was finally free because I started rushing towards the river as runoff! Once in the river, I found my way out once the deer left, and made it back home safe to my family. I told them everything that happened and they said it happens all the time to water! No matter what, I’m never going back to the river again!
