  • Effects of trade on Europe
  • Trade is how we get goods from other countries, like Asia and Europe.
  • Wool and Cloth sold here ->
  • People would trade for goods, and so people began to rise above nobles in power.
  • The plague, also known as the black death, killed 1/3 of Europe's population, and so, people had to trade for food and goods because there was not as many people to make that stuff.
  • And because of trade, towns were set up for merchants to have permanent places to trade.
  • And so, the merchants became more wealthy than nobles, and universities were made, and so a sort of government was formed, and feudalism was ended.
