In the play Romeo and Juliet Tybalt and Mercutio get in to a frawl. Mercutio gets stabbed by tybalt and discribes the plague on the houses. I am hurt.A plague o’ both houses! I am sped.Is he gone and hath nothing?(III i 93-95). This is showing Mercutio on the ground dying.
Literary Device dramatic irony
This is a description of when Tybalt killed Mercutio and Romeo goes after him and stabbes Tybalt. Thou wretched boy that didst consort him here Shalt with him hence.(III i 135-136). This is a quote from Tybalt right be for he dies. He is talking to Romeo and right after this conversation Romeo stabbes him.
In this summary the prince comes to talk to both of the families. Benvolio, who began this bloody fray?. (III i 159). This quote is showing the prince asking Bencolio who was the person who started the fight. Benvolio awancers and the prince bands Romeo from the city.
The example of dramatic irony because Romeo is explaining to Tybalt that he loves him more than he knows. Tybalt, the reason that I have to love thee Doth much excuse the appertaining rage To such a greeting. (III i 63-65). this quote is showing dramatic irony because us an aduence know that Romeo is married to juliet but Tybalt does not know so he wants to kill Romeo.
This story show growth and develepment in all the story. The story shows a lot of growth a lot in Romeo because at the start of the story Romeo was locking him self in his room all alone. He devloped because he is now happy because he is married to juliet.
