What is Humanisim?
William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564 in Stratford, England. William loved literature. It was his passion. Literature inspired Shakespeare in so many ways. He was an artistic and intellectual leader. Many scholars consider Shakespeare's time to be a golden age of literature. His writing of plays and literature shaped modern day English. Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616.
Between 1590 and 1613, Shakespeare wrote 38 plays and many poems that expanded the English language . Shakespeare was considered a leader in the humanist movement. Most of Shakespeare's works brought out the struggle of humans morality rather than the conflicts associated with religious beliefs.
My definition of humanism is that humans are more important and special to this world than the differences in beliefs or religion. Humans are meant to be on the earth because they should love who they are and love others for what they are. Humans were not made to hate just because they do not like the religion that other people follow or the different beliefs that people belive in.
