Hey were running out of food and I think there's no animals around to hunt
What about we could just stay here beyond the nearby river I'm sure there are edible plants there
Awesome maybe we could build permanent shelter for our people as well
That's right, maybe we could start now exploring.
That's an idea, I'm sure the land is fertile beyond the river and we could try to control the plants to grow
I know but I think some of our people does not have the strength to migrate somewhere else again
Three months later
Hey look the plants that we arrange in the ground is starting to grow
We could invite some other people to come and live and work for us
That's great we just need to be more organize and build more permanent shelter for the rest of our people
Yeah its amazing now we can feed our people without hunting in the wild
This mark the start of the first human societies. The discovery of making a living on the side of a river and farming made the humans stay in permanent places that build communities, social hierarchy, and social roles. This marks the start of the evolution of human societies towards what it is today
