  • The old banker was in his house, thinking about the events that have happened 15 years earlier.
  • Falling Action
  • Fifteen Years Earlier: a Lawyer and the Banker makes a bet. the Lawyer was to stay in solitary confinement for fifteen years and the if the Lawyer was successful, he would receive 2 million dollars
  • Resolution
  • As the years pass, the Lawyer grows old and studies languages, sciences, and history. He reads a lot of books and texts and becomes much smarter. Even smarter than the Banker.
  • The Element of ----- enhances the Element of ----- (2)
  • The Element of Setting (Fall) enhances the Element of Themes (Death). This is because Fall often represents the dying stage of life and the theme of death is present in this story.
  • The Banker read an ominous letter from the old Lawyer, talking about his 15 years of experience of being alone and what it had done to him. 
  • the next morning, the old lawyer escapes from his confinement. The Banker then locks the letter the Lawyer gave him in a Fireproof Safe and gets too keep the 2 million dollars
  • The Element of P.O.V. (third limited) enhances the element of Character (Antagonist). By us only really knowing the Banker's thoughts and feelings, we discover how the Banker wishes the Lawyer had died.
