  • The Burning of Washington, D.C. - 1814
  • The Battle of Tippecanoe - Indiana 1811
  • The Battle of York - Ontario 1813
  • Winner: Great Britain Result: The British were able to destroy most of Washington D.C. as revenge for the American burning of York. (Toronto)
  • The Battle of Fort McHenry - Maryland 1814
  • Winner: United States Result: The United States relatively easily beats the Native Americans. This battle would later be important for peace.
  • The Battle of New Orleans - Louisiana 1815
  • Winner: United States Result: Although the U.S. won the fight in York, the battle did little to better either side.
  • Winner: United States Result: This battle was important towards peace. The British showed up then left. Only 29 lives total were lost during this battle.
  • Winner: United States Result: The United States won the battle and the victory would be celebrated for many years to come.
