The French and Indian War was against the French, British, and Native Americans for the land in the Ohio River Valley.
The Albany Plan of Union was the first attempt to create a unified government for the thirteen colonies.

The Treaty of Paris ended the war and gave Britain Canada. It also gave the British access to the Ohio River Valley. French had to stay.
The Proclamation of 1763 prevented Indians from living east and Settlers from moving west.
The war cost the British a lot of money so they taxed their people, angering them.
Why do we care about this?
Oh, yeah. 'Cause then we wouldn't have had the American Revolution.
