The Geographical Center of North America features Fort Mandan, a place where two explorers survived a North Dakota winter. You can explore this national historic site in the midpoint of Rugby.
You can visit North Dakota's national historic sites, such as the Geographical Center of North America, Fort Union, and Fort Yates.
Sitting Bull was buried near Fort Yates. Fort Union was main fur trading post in the Upper Missouri River Region.
The weather is great in each season. For example, in spring, there are lots of animals and plants growing healthily because of the rain. In winter it is snowing. In fall, birds start to migrate. In summer, most of North Dakota's favored agriculture is growing.
This is the Peace Garden. This straddles the borders of North Dakota and the Canadian Province of Manitoba. This represents a promise of Us and Canada to never go to war.
