  • Battle Of Horseshoe Bend - Early 1814
  • The U.S was unprepared for war at this time because forces were small and weak.
  • White House burned 1814
  • The Battle Of Lake Erie was a bloody battle, but the U.S defeated the British and got back Lake Erie.
  • Treaty of Ghent Dec. 1814

  • In the Battle Of Horseshoe Bend  in March   1814, Andrew Jackson led U.S troops to defeat the British  and over take  the creeks.  Even though  the U.S was successful  many people died.
  • Battle of New Orleans January 1815

  • In August 1814, the British attacked Washington D.C and burned down most of the White House.
  • The Treaty Of Ghent was a peace treaty between America and England, though nothing really changed at all.

  • In January 1815, the British attacked Andrew Jackson and his troops. The British was no match for the U.S troops, so the U.S won.
