Storyboard Text

  • I am the hare and I am the fastest animal in the forest.
  • I am not so sure about that.  I challenge    you to a race.  How about tomorrow  at noon.?
  • Ok.    Sounds good. See you at the track tomorrow.
  • The next day.. 12:00
  • I can't wait to win.  I know I will.
  • There was once a forest with many animals in it.  The Hare thought he we the fastest animal in the forest.    He was always  boasting and all the animals were tired of it.
  • One day, the Tortoise   stands up to the  Hare and challenges him to a race.  The Hare agrees. They plan to meet at the race track the next day at noon.
  • Go Tortoise!
  • The following day, the whole forest is gathered to watch and see if the tortoise will win.  The Hare knows he will and can't wait to prove it.
  • Yay! Yay! Tortoise wins!  No more boasting for the Hare!
  • When the race started the Hare was immediately.  But, everyone was cheering for the tortoise.
  • The hare was far ahead  when the race started.
  • The Hare thought he was so far ahead he had time to take a nap.  So, he did.
  • While the Hare was sleeping the tortoise got closer and closer to the finish line.  The Hare woke up just in time to see the tortoise cross the finish line and win the race.  Everyone was cheering for the tortoise.   This proves that you should not be overconfident like the Hare.  slow and steady  can still win the race.
