In 8th grade Clayton was the best player on the field, but he got a nasty surprise in 9th grade. He was B team bench freshman year and he was disgusted. He barely knew how to cope.
When Clayton was leaving the field he ran into Ryan. Ryan offered to give him steriods to beef him up and feel better. Clayton was so depressed he willing took the steriods and started using.
Clayton felt worse and worse after he stared using the steriods. But he became addicted and could not stop. He did get bigger physically but mentally he was at an all time low. Clayton tried to stop using the drugs but he found it hard to function without them.
One day, Clayton's mom walked in on him doing the steroids. She slapped him hard and reprimanded him for doing something so foolish. She vowed he would never play football again untill he cleaned up his act. Clayton loved the game so he swore he would do anything to stop.
In junior year, Clayton tried out for football again. He made A team starting quaterback. He was glad his mom found out he did drugs because he felt better and healthier. He became an activist for the school and warned incoming freshmen to stay away from boys like Ryan. Clayton went on to help his school win many championships.
