Storyboard Text

  • Reflection Example:
  • The sun is acting as a light source which is shining light on the cube.
  • Light from the light source is being reflected off the cube allowing it to be seen by anyone viewing.
  • The viewer is able to see the cube because the light is being reflected off the cube into their eyes.
  • Refraction Example:
  • Light from the light source is shining on a green circle in the water.
  • The light is being "split" on the water, that is refraction. It causes the actual placement of the green circle to appear where the red one is located.
  • The viewer sees the green circle where the red circle is located due to the distortion of refraction. The light is not lined up with what the observers sees.
