This is one of the civil war's earliest land battle. This took place near Newport, Virginia. the confederate won this battle. 18 people died, 53 were hurt and 5 went missing.
Battle of Gettysburg July 1-3, 1863
This battle only had 40 union soldiers and the confederates only had 80 people. The Union wanted to take control of the river west of the Appalation. They just wanted one river, but they got two. The rivers are the Clobus and Tennessee river. The Union won.
Battle of Cold Harbor May 31-June 12 1864
Gen. Patrick R. Cleburne lead his advanced Col. John S. Scott’s cavalry and fighters. Their troops went WAY overboard on the weapons. The confederates were not expected to win this battle. They did though. This was the first major battle in the Kentucky campaign.
Battle of Averasbo March 16th, 1865
General Lee was in high spirits in the began of the battle. Despite heavy losses the North held their defense and ended Lee’s attempt to invade the North. This battle resulted in the Gettysburg Address and redefined the purpose of the war. The Union won.
This was one of the bloodiest battles. It was also one of the most lopsided battles. The union had way more people than the Confederates. This let the Inion to victory.
Mostly the Carlina people fought this. This battle was fought in Harnett, County. This war was inclonclusive. Although, after the war was over, the union was afraid they were going to come back that they didn't sleep for two nights streight.
