  • good morning guys today i am going to talk about the eye
  • The eye is a complex opticalsystemthat collects light from the surrounding environment, regulatesits intensity through a diaphragm, focuses it through an adjustable set of lenses to form an image, converts this image into a set of electrical signals, andtransmits these signals to the brain. its parts are the pupil, iris ,eyelid, cornea, lens, opticnerve, retina
  • The pupil: resizes to regulate the amount of light entering the eye. It getssmaller in bright light and tendsto get biggeras the amount of light decreases. The iris: is the colored part of the eye. Itis located between the cornea.and the lens. The very small muscles within the iris make the pupil smaller and larger. to control the amount of light entering theeye. The eyelids:are a valuable protection system for the eyes. They are indeed, membraneswith ups anddowns that allow tears to spread, protect the eyeball from drynessduring sleepand by excess light during wakefulness, in addition to preventing the entry ofparticles.
  • Optic nerve: Theoptic nerve groups more than a million nerve fibers that carry visual messages. This connects the back of each eye (your retina) to the brain. Damage to theoptic nerve can cause vision loss. The type of vision loss and its severitydepends on where the damage occursLens: Transparentdisk that focuses light, like in a camera or microscope. In the eye, the lensis a transparent, curved structure located at the front of the eye, behind thepupil, called the lens.germs, dustand other harmful materials. It also helps the eye to focus. The cornea:it is the outer layer of the eye. It is transparent and shaped like a dome. Thecornea helps protect the eye. Thank you
