Storyboard Text

  • "And then he was a shrieking blaze, a jumping, sprawling gibbering mannikin, no longer human or known..."
  • After Montag burns his house, in a fit of rage he decides to burn Beatty alive.
  • After Montag escapes from the city by going down-river, he gets up and hits something with his foot, and it turns out to be the railroad track.
  • "Hos foot hit something that rang dully. He moved his hand to the ground, a yard this way, a yard that. The railroad track."
  • "And on either side of the river was there a tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month; And the leaves of the tree were for the healthy of the nations."
  • As the group walks towards the bombed and destroyed city, Montag thinks of a quote from the Bible to give him hope for the future.
