In this scene they are were they began, at the river. During this time George finds Lennie with the dead mouse and yells at him. This scene is important because it will all come back together at the end. The topic dreams can relate to this part because this is when they start to talk about the dream to have a farm and have all these animals on it.
In this scene they get to the bunker where they will live and also meet the rest of the characters. During this part they go into the cabin and meet everyone including the boss. The boss questions Lennie and they meet curlyś wife. The topic dreams is related here because Lennie over hears about the dogs and wants to have one.
In this scene Carlson convices Curly to let him kill his dog.This part is important to the story because .George accidently tells curly what happend with Lennie back in weed and about how Lennie isn't crazy he is just dumb. They also convinced Candy to let Carlson kill his dog.
They go and meet the ¨nigger¨ that lived in the farm.
This is the biggest scene in Chaper 5 because Lennie kills Curly's wife and also one of the pups. During this part of the story Curlys wife goes and starts talking to Lennie and then tells Lennie he can feel her hair so he does and holds on and end up snaping her neck. He also killed the puppy by slapping it becaue it tried to bite him.
This is the most touching scene in the whole story. Lennie is hiding by the river were george told him to just in case he did get into trouble. George goes to Lennie and talks to him about the dreams they had and the future they would have together and then shot him in the back of the dead before the other guys would get him locked up for life or kill him.
