In the Palace (line 427)
Creon walked in....
"Back again, just in time when you need him" (lIne 428).
The servant came to report to Creon that he found the sinner who buried Polynices.
"What? You mean what you say, you're telling me the truth?" (lines 445-446).
The servant disclosed all the facts to Creon about what Antigone did.
"Now, my lord, here she is. Take her, question her" (lines 439-440). She is the prisoner who buried Polynices (lines 443-444).
"You,with your eyes fixed on the ground—speak up. Do you deny you did this, yes or no?" (lines 489-491).
Yes, I did it. I don't deny anything (line 491).
Creon queried Antigone if what the servant said was true.
"Look, Ismene's coming, weeping a sister's tears, loving sister, under a cloud …" (lines 593-597).
"Come, tell me, will you confess your part in the crime or not? Answer me. Swear to me" (line 601-602).
Yes, I did. I would share the guilt with my sister (lines 603-604).
As told by Chorus, Ismene came to the stage and wanted to share the crime with her sister.
"They're both mad, I tell you, the two of them. One's just shown it, the other's been that way since she was born" (lines 632-633).
I can't living without you...(line 639).
Creon’s ruthlessness was revealed, and he planned to punish both of them.
"Courage! Live your life" (line 630). Make the wise decision!
Of course! She is just a worthless woman for my son (line 644). "Death will do it for me—break their marriage off" (line 648).
Creon expressed that he would kill Antigone regardless of his son's marriage.
Let me remind you! You will kill your own son's bride! (line 641).
