Storyboard Description

I created this storyboard to illustrate a scene involving Charley and Willy. I used part of their conversation to show an example of pride and ego. To me the quote, "Why must everybody like you?" is the best example for pride and ego. I think this quote means that sometimes a person’s ego gets in the way of what’s most important. Charley says this to Willy because he is more worried about being liked than being successful. I also think that this is a trait many people have and don't that pride can keep them from reaching their full potential sometimes.

Storyboard Text

  • The only thing you got in this world is what you can sell. And the funny thing is that you’re a salesman, and you don’t know that.
  • I’ve always tried to think otherwise, I guess. I always felt that if a man was impressive, and well liked, that nothing—
  • Why must everybody like you?
