- Hey! How was your trip to Bangkok, Arthur? Did you enjoy it?
- Yeah! I was exhausted from the trip, but it was a lot of fun there.
- Why? Was the food unappetizing to you?
- I wish I could have stayed for a few more days, but the food isn't all that great.
- I've always enjoyed trying new cuisines, but when I decided to try different restaurants in Bangkok, I found that there simply aren't any good restaurants in Bangkok.
- When I went to restaurant X, I ordered “Thai Crispy Fish” but it tasted quite different to the “Thai Crispy Fish” that we get here.
- So you just didn’t like the “Thai Crispy Fish” there?
- Also, when I went to Restaurant Z, I ordered some dumplings, and they didn't have that firm, consistent, and springy feel to them; instead, they felt grainy, and the fillings were separating.
- Restaurant Y was also the last restaurant I visited. I ordered some massaman curry, but the flavor and spices were lacking, and the beef was just so tough that chewing it was just a workout.
- Sounds like you had a tough time enjoying the food there.
