- Then in 550 b.c the Persian king Cyrus the great led a successfully uprising against the Medes
- After that Cyrus captured the Babylonian empire and he continued like that until it stretched infrom Afganistán to the Aegean Sea, including Mesopotamia.

- After winning a war, he showed mercy to conquer kings.

- After Cyru’s death his son Cambyses became king and added Egipt and Libya to the empire.
- The next king was Darius I who ruled Persia a it’s height. Darius expanded the empire until it grew to about 2,800 mile.
