- And you also expanded the kingdom and established your Babylonian empire across Mesopotamia.
- Hammurabi became the sixth king of Babylon
- These included streets, strong walls, beautiful temples and efficient irrigation canals.

- You also had too many networks of alliances and that helped you conquer all of Mesopotamia in just 8 years!
- We’re the Assyrians, we’re people of Northen Mesopotamia who developed a different culture
- A strong agricultural economy and a large profesional army helped us conquer all of Mesopotamia , parts of Asia Minor and also Egipt
- We were United by our workship of the god Ashur
- Ur strong iron weapons gave us an advantage over our enemies
- Whose swords were made of weaker bronze
- We also had horse-drawn chariots and soldiers who used bows and arrows while riding horses
- the government sometimes forced rebellious people to move to faraway lands
- When the Assyrian empire grew too big , and it’s subjects became tired of being treated so unfairly we were getting weakened by our internal power struggles.
