the europeans didn't enslave the natives at first the europeans first got all useful information they could from them
often times europeans traded for information and traded to get goods needed to survival like animal hide for gunpowder or rifles
in the mouuntains there is silver
ships went back and forth getting resources for bartering and exchanging information with their mother land
the information usually entailed resources and river locations often these resources were in the mountains such as silver
the group that started the fur trade was fisherrman selling commervial goods like steel spoons guns and other items for fur because of the cold winters
though this did not last long soon the europeans started to enslave the indians
this was trading with the indians
