  • Joe: Here, try a cigarette!
  • Examine the Options
  • John: So I have two options: I could smoke or not.
  • Consider the Outcome
  • If I don't smoke, I can't get emphysema, and I will be at lower risk for throat and lung cancer But, my friends will pressure me all of the time and will also bully me...
  • If I smoke, I could fit in with my friends It might also help me relieve stress But, I might get cancer or emphysema... *Plus, 1,300 people die every day from tobacco use.
