  • Rome was a peninsula, witch means it was surrounded by water on three sides. Also, if you look like it on the map, it looks like a boot. 
  • Influences of Etruscan Sports
  • Romulus and Remus were thrown in a river to drown bu a wolf picked them up and raised them as her own. As they grew up they can back to human life. The king died and they didn't know what to name a city so they fought. They fought so intensely that Remus even died. That is why Rome is the name.
  • Influences of Greek Architecture
  • The Romans became very good builders and they used techniques from the Etruscans. They built very cool structers that we even use today (more modern).
