Storyboard Text

  • Have you heard that Texas has fully converted to the use of Natural Gas?
  • Yes and I think everyone should! I heard that one reason they switched because it is the cleanest burning fossil fuel
  • Going back to the point of saving money... the average cost to heat a house with oil is almost $2,000 while natural gas is less than $900
  • I don't know how I feel about it though because I feel like it is a huge change. I think oil is better.
  • It is a very big change but it releases the least amount of harmful carbon dioxide
  • Converting to Natural Gas also allows for saving money because it is cheaper than most energy sources
  • Even though all of your points are valid Natural Gas requires fracking and too much fracking can cause earthquakes
  • That is true but fracking is also good for the economy and limits how much we depend on oil.
  • You still don't have me fully convinced.
  • I see your point.
  • Finally! *chuckles* I think that every energy source has their flaws but natural gas's positives seem to override the negatives.
  • I guess I agree! *Chuckles*
