  • My Motif is revenge. Juliet is warning Romeo that her family will murder him for being on their property. The capulets will seek revenge for the feud between their families.
  • After Romeo refuses to leave, he declares his love to Juliet. She emphasizes that his life is danger because they will kill him if they see him there.
  • The Nurse threatens Mercutio after he insults her in front of her servant man Peter, Romeo, and Benvolio. She is so offended by his ridicule that she promises to find someone who will avenge on her behalf if she can't do it herself.
