Odysseus and his men arrived at the city of Cicones and the men stole riches. The cicones took charge and the men managed to escape with the goods.
Book 10
The men sailed to a small island and explored a cave by the shore with sheep pens, but only 12 of the best fighters came inside.
If Pigs Could Fly
However, the men got trapped inside by the cyclops, but Odysseus tricked the cyclops by hiding underneath the sheep's wool. Leaving the cave Odysseus boasted to the monster, enraged the cyclops cursed Odysseus to have to wait an extremely long time to see his family again.

After being gifted a gust of wind by Aeolus, Odysseus' men became greedy and opened the gust of wind not thinking of how it'd affect the boat.
The men meet Circe, who agrees to take them into her home for shelter. Eurylochus is suspicious of her. Odysseus eventually learns that she has already enslaved half the crew by turning them into pigs.
Odysseus gets advice from Hermes which helps him free his men. Once released, Odysseus forces Circe and her maids to take care of him and his man for a year.
