I can't believe we are at the lowest point in Ontario, Hudson Bay!
I can't believe we forgot to bring snacks.
Did you really have to take me to a place where the American Black Bear is the most common animal? On a related note, tell me you didn't bring honey!
I can't believe we might get to see an American Black Bear!
This beautiful coast is definitely what got New Brunswick the title of "Picture Province".
Speaking of, Smile!
I did the postcard, and I discovered that the provincial rock is amethyst, the busiest highway in North America (Highway 401) runs through Ontario, and that the lowest point in the province is Hudson Bay.
Do I really want to ask how Dartmouth got its name?
It truly is an interesting city!
Dartmouth truly is my favorite city, and not just because it is one of the biggest. It is beautiful and has a lot of fun things to do that make wonderful memories.
For my national park, I chose La Mauricie National Park. When researching, I realized that the park has many scenic lighthouses, including West Point Lighthouse, it has many opportunities to canoe and stay in log cabins, and it's most common animal is the American Black Bear.
Prince Edward Island
You've said that about the other 300 bird species we've seen...
My project was the state float. I found out that New Brunswick is called the "Picture Province" because of its scenery, and that 5 words involved with my province are fishers, scenic, oceanic, exotic, and forested. A famous person from this province is Robb Wells, an actor who is known for his role as Ricky on the Trailer Park Boys franchise.
Newfoundland and Labrador
My project for Nova Scotia was the powerpoint. Nova Scotia's nickname is the "Bluenose Province", its highest point is White Hill (at 1.755 feet), and its five largest cities are Bedford, Sydney, Dartmouth, Glace Bay, and Truro.
My project for Prince Edward Island was the point of interest, and the Prince Edward Island National Park was the one I chose. I learned that the park has 300 species of birds in it, it is the home to the setting of Anne of Green Gables, and it contains over 400 kinds of plants.
It is REALLY cool honey.
Mom, look! That bird is the coolest!
My project for Nova Scotia was the collage, which featured Torngat Mountains, Twillingate, and La Manche. The Torngat Mountains are beautiful canyon cliffs that are surrounded by waterfalls and mountains. Twillingate is a cove that has icebergs every day, and La Manche features beautiful forests.
This waterfall is almost as beautiful as the Twillingate Icebergs and the La Manche Forest!
