The Theme of ¨The Tell-Tale Heart a gothic fiction story by Edgar Allan Poe is teaching you not to commit a crime or any crime because the consciences will be rough, you can goto jail or drive yourself insane because of the guilt its causing you.The guilt can either make you confess or drive you mad because thinking about what you did make you so guilty that you drive yourself insane. This shows that your consciences have actions even without the law.
This is the old man I take care of, hes a nice guy ive cared for him for about a year now but the problem is his eye, it is like a vultures eye. I planned on killing the man it was something about his eye that made me want to get rid of the old man.
His made me so irritated that I decided to plot a murder so every night at exactly 12 am I would go into the old mans room very quietly and watch him just to plan my perfect murder. I would check on him to watch his breathing patterns and to see if he did anything at night
I was being super careful until tonight which it caught me off guard when the old man woke up my heart was pounding I would have to kill him tonight he called out whos there I stayed in place heart racing I was so scared
An hour passed by and the old man was still up I decided its now or never so I grabbed the blanket and suffocated the old man until he was lifeless
I desposed the old mans body really well, I took everything seriously I removed the floor boards and carefully put his remaining corpse in the wooden floors under 2 panels
Shortly later the poilde came by a neighboor over heard the scream and reported it to the police I was so sure of myself that I invited them in the house but moments later I sgtarted to hear the old mans heart beat it was hard to swallow and the guilt of killing the old man was getting to me I started to stutter then I finally just turned myself in.
