Storyboard Text

  • Ismene and Antigone are at the palace
  • Our Brothers died! They should be buried with Honor!
  • "Creon is not strong enough to stand in my way" (Sophocles Prologue. 34-35).
  • I know, but Creon is against it. 
  • Scene 1: Creon is speaking to the town
  • Anyone that goes against this edict will be seen as an enemy too. This is the law now. 
  • You all know Oedipus son, Eteocles and Polyneices, are dead. Eteocles will be buried but not Polyneices because he died as an enemy. 
  • Scene 2: Creon, Antigone, and Ismene are in the palace. 
  • I am told that you were the one that buried Polyneices. Did you?
  • Even though I said this was against the law.
  • He is already dead and by leaving him for the animals, his body would be defiled, and I couldn't let that happen.
  • "I do, I deny nothing" (Sophocles ii. 53).
  • Scene 3: Creon and Haemon are together in the palace. 
  • It must be done!
  • "You think it right to stand up for an anarchist?" (Sophocles iii. 98).
  • NO! But she doesn't have to die. 
  • What are we going to do? Everyone knows about Antigones compulsive actions. Does she have to die?
  • Scene 4: Antigone, gaurds, creon and chorus are at the graveyard
  • "Then let me go, since all your words are bitter" (Sophocles iv. 49). 
  • Death is doing you a favor
  • Calm down
  • Scene 5: Teiresias, Creon, and messenger are talking
  • "I am not aware that i have ever failed to listen" (Sophocles V. 5). 
  • how dare you question my honor
  • your fake
  • I must go free Antigone to change my fate. 
  • Karma will get you king creaon, you don't listen
