Seizures take a great toll on the body because it effects the central nervous system. Because of this, the victim may have uncontrollable jerking movements, labored breathing, abnormal breathing and much more.
Most factors that cause seizures are uncontrollable. Some of these factors would be flashing lights or patterns, illness, brain tumors and cerebral palsy. But a few things you can do to lower your chances of getting a seizure is not missing meds, avoiding physiological stress as well as drugs and alcohol.
During the recovery period, the person goes through a lucid phase where they feel completely normal. This usually lasts a couple of hours and afterwards the person may experience hallucinations or delusions from fatigue.
