Woodrow Wilson: We need to sign the Treaty of Versailles. It gives us the League of Nations which will preserve world peace and I worked really hard for it.
John Cabot Lodge: The Treaty of Versailles will start a new war if a conflict breaks out. Myself and the Irreconcilables think it is a bad idea and we don't want to be a part of the League of Nations. We won't sign it.
Woodrow Wilson: No! The Treaty of Versailles is good and we need to sign it! It will keep another war from happening. We don't have to join the fighting, just sending aid is enough.
I am traveling all across the country to convince Americans to support the Treaty.
Hear Wilson's Speech on the Treaty of Versailles!
Woodrow Wilson: *has stroke, can't reach lifelong dream of the League of Nations, presidential term ends
Wilson: I Just want for Senate to sign the Treaty. The League of Nations is very good, and we should be a part of it.
Warren G. Harding: I am the new president and I don't do anything so it is up to Congress to end the war if they want.
Vice President: The Senate and House signed a Joint Resolution. It ends the war, but doesn't get us involved in anything with the Treaty of Versailles so we don't have to worry about being dragged into conflicts that we aren't involved with.
