  • Hi, I am a Native American moving west westward to become a farmer
  • I will be riding my horse out west to become a farmer back then one great geographic feature was transportation, a horse was one of the greatest things that influenced our lives
  • We just arrived, and it just occurred to me that the native americans hunted buffalo before the settlers came, and now the land is so clear
  • People went west, because the government was forcing them to leave their land. They also had to leave since the government was killing so many people, and some people didn't want to die so they left.
  • It was very difficult to farm out here in the great plains
  • The Native americans also used the windmill to help pump water for the crops and for themselves
  • But thanks to the steel pillow and barbed wire it made it way easier
  • As you can see our technology has made it so much better these days
  • Barbed wire really helped use because it kept the animals in one place and also helped the animals not to eat all the crops
  • The native americans did not believe in land ownership, because they believed it had a spirit, so that is why now we have so much for our crops
  • Although, native americans were nice and all they still had many conflicts with the settlers, such as attacking each other over the land
  • They also had many battles such as the Fetterman Massacre, and the Massacre at the sand creek
