Storyboard Text

  • Romeo and Juliet Act 3 Scene 4
  • Tybalt has died and Juliet grieving. She is upstairs asleep, as I would have been an hour ago if you were not here.
  • "These times of woe afford no times of woo" (3.4.9). Goodnight, say good things about me to your daughter.
  • I will. She'll be up early tomorrow but today she is sad.
  • Sir Paris, I rule my child's love, and she will do whatever I say and more. Wife, before you go to bed, tell Juliet about Paris. And bid her on Wednesday... wait what day is it?
  • Monday, my lord.
  • Monday! Wednesday is too soon. Let it be Thursday! Tell Juliet she shall be married to the noble Paris. If it were any sooner, it would seem like we don't care about Tybalt's death. Only a dozen friends shall be invited. What do you think about Thursday?
  • My lord, I wish that Thursday was tomorrow!
  • Okay, go away. Thursday it is then.
  • Go to Juliet before you go to bed. Prepare her for her wedding day. Good night!
  • The End
