  • The British and the French signed the Treaty of Utrecht in 1713 after 13 years of war. In the Treaty of Utrecht the French gave the British Acadia and the Hudson Bay.
  • Yes!
  • Sure but we wan't some land
  • Sure the king said you can have Acadia and Hudson Bay
  • Can we stop this war
  • Treaty
  • The British were fine with the Acadians if they gave a oath of elegance to the king of the British. But the Acadians wanted to stay neutral. After time the British got worried that if there was a war the Acadians will attack them.
  • Ok, Then you will have to leave
  • You Acadians can stay if you gave a oath of elegance to the king of the British
  • No! we want to stayy neutral
  • The British force the Acadians out on ship and shipped them to France and other tropical places, and some family were separated.
  • Get on Board!
  • Please give him back!
  • No! we don't want too
  • I don't care, get on board!
  • Some Acadians were able to escape to some Fist Nation camps and the First Nation people got mad at the British.
  • Can I stay here
  • Yes!
  • After the British Solders and Generals got rid of the Acadians the king told the people to burn their houses.
  • Good job general, now set all their houses on fire
  • Sir, all the Acadians are gone
  • Yes sir!
  • So the Generals and Soldiers went to go to burn the Acadians houses and farms.
