I've received an email this morning from my teacher with a link, i opened the link. But turns out it's not my teacher. someone pretended to be so they can steal my project and delete it from my PC. the project is worth 50% of the total mark.
That's absolutely unacceptable. but don't worry, i know what's going on.
omg seriously! what's going on!
It's a security attack called phishing. They trick the victims by using emails!
That's frustrating! but don't worry lura, we can show the teacher the email as a proof, and we can tell the police about it.
it's ok, everybody makes mistakes.
i feel so stupid i don't know how i let them trick me
no lura, you're not stupid.
Dear lura, in order to avoid phishing, you should double check the email address. they can add small changes and you can't know unless if you focused.
Moreover, you should think before opening any link, like why world this person send a link? and check the domain name on google if it's trust worthy or not.
That's what friends for my dear!
Thank you guys! i don't know what i'd do without you both!
