Storyboard Text
- Jamal is walking along the street minding his own business when a police officer comes along and tells him to put his arms in the air. A crowd begins to form as a scene unfolds. Jamal is confused as to why he has been threatened by the officer. The red signifies an emotion, in this tab low, it signifies that the officer is angry.
- The officer rushes towards Jamal and beats him to the ground, holding him in a position while simultaneously choking him with his legs. The boy on the side pulls out his phone and starts to record the unfolding scene. The green signified that the boy is shocked and the bright red signifies that the officer is furious. The boy is cuffed and beat. The crowd is horrified.
- The video that the boy posted quickly spreads along with the media, news and social pages. The police's supervisor watches this in horror. He quickly makes his way to the scene to sort things out.
- An ambulance is called to the scene to try and save the boy, he is carried on a stretcher to the ambulance. The supervisor is furious with the officer and immediately fires him on the spot. The bright red indicates the supervisor's anger towards the officer and the blue represents that the officer is saddened by his actions.
- At the hospital, the doctor comes to the devastated mother to tell her the news about his boy. Jamal has died from the incident.
- Jamal's mother and father grief over the loss of his son.
