  • Confucius was Born on September 28, 551 BC in a small province on the east coast of China, now known as Shandong. He was self-educated and was raised by a poor family.
  • Sounds good!
  • Come learn about my philosophy!
  • When Confucius was a teenager, he had an administrative position with the local noble, managing his agricultural accounts. It was here where Confucius found his passion for philosophy.
  • Listen up class!
  • As an adult Confucius left his homeland and began to wander around the state of China. He wanted to share his philosophy with ruling princes in hope that they would spread his teaching.
  • Of course he changed many peoples perspective of Earth!
  • Hey do you remember Confucius?
  • Confucius got rejected by the stubborn warlords, but won the hearts of the oppressed people. He returned to his home state and started an informal school where he taught his principles.
  • Confucius trained many people over the years as his followers began to grow. Confucius helped install his "disciples" in state government.
  • By the time Confucius had died in 478 BC of natural causes, he was considered, along Buddha, as one of the greatest two ethical minds in the East. And his philosophy carried on.
