Storyboard Text

  •  First, electrons are moved in the electron transport chains within the thylakoid membrane. Every 12 of the three-carbon molecules made, two of them are removed to build organic compounds and 10 continue on in the chain. The removed molecules bond together forming six-carbon sugar like glucose. Photosynthesis removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and releases oxygen gas.
  • The light-dependent reac-tions require light and water, occur in the thylakoids, and produce ATP and NADPH. The light-independent reactions require carbon dioxide, occur in the stroma, and produce high-energy sugars.
  • What happens during photosynthesis?
  • Well...
  • The carbon atom in glucose, throughout cellular respiration, is split into two pyruvate molecules through glycolysis. The pyruvate is handled into Acetyl CoA. The Acetyl CoA is then oxidized in the citric acid cycle to sort two molecules of CO2 per cycle. In fermentation, the glucose, once turning into 2 pyruvate molecules, is instead adapted into some waste end lactate inhuman muscle cells. Cellular respiration and Fermentation
