Man can conquer all until hard and unexpected events turn into hard and unexpected consequences that lead to a man's despair and overall downfall. A man who is normally riddled with power gets brought to his knees and can't get up onto his feet due to the overwhelming conflict within him. With this despair comes guilt and sorrow that can cripple anyone that it comes over. The despair can drive you to do anything at all. This drives you to agree to anything or just go straight into insanity in hopes that you die for the sheer reason that the despair came over you in the first place.
