- This land will be for you and for your 2 brothers. I ask you to take good care of the land and the crops that grow on it.
- What do you mean by that Father?
- Since I am still strong and able to do the farm works and routine I can manage to take care of the land. Time will come that you will take over my responsibility.
- hhuhhh???
- I am not asking you to be a farmer but I am asking you not to leave this land. Even though you will be earning a living whatever profession you will have but still you have to take care this land. I hope you will take this wholeheartedly.
- Hmmm...I might a little bit confused this time.
- I promise to take care of this land and I would like to know the techniques how to have abundant harvest.
- I have some techniques but this is based on my experiences. I do not have the formal education on how to handle and cultivate the land.
- I have the interest Father but I have to think of it first and I will finalize my decision during the right time.
- If you are interested ,I would like to recommend you to go for agri business related degree when you will be in college. Theories, principles and techniques will be learned in school. This is only a suggestion . I am not forcing you to go or do something that you/re not interested with.
- Father, I can not promise to be an agriculturist but I can promise now that I will take care of our land.
- Well, thank you for that. Your mother will be glad with your decision.
