On May 16th, 2011 at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon Sgt. Robinsons and his team of 8 were doing a daily patrol along a the side of the mountain when suddenly Sgt. Robinsons stepped on a IED.
Thankfully enough, Pvt. Johns was able to call him in to get him to a extraction point where he could be sent to a hospital and treated for his injuries.
We wish you the best of luck!!!
3 years later Sgt. Robinsons had a amputated leg and successful physical therapy and his loving family and friends to help him though it all one step at a time. And as for the rest of the team, they've all retired and are living with their families.
