  • Metamorphic Rock!
  • Hello everyone! Welcome to Learning with Miss Blossom. Today we are learning about rocks and how they form. The first rock we will talk about is a Metamorphic rock, it is formed when any type of rock is under pressure or in heat.
  • The second rock we will talk about is Sedimentary, but before that, there is a stage called sediments that forms it. Sediments are caused by weathering or erosion that happens to a rock and it breaks the rock up into many little pieces called sediments.
  • Sediments!
  • Sedimentary Rock!
  • Now that you know what sediments are, let's get to Sedimentary rock! It is made of sediments that cemented or compacted together over time.
  • Now we will look at magma. It is formed when any type of rock is melted under the Earth's surface and liquified. Magma is usually found in volcanoes. I will explain Igneous rock in a minute.

  • Igneous Rock!
  • And here we are! At our final rock! Our final rock is an Igneous Rock! It is formed when magma from an erupted volcano cools down due to wind and air and hardens as an Igneous Rock.
  • This cycle is endless! The cycle doesn't go in order, it can go in any order time brings it! It doesn't have a specific order! Well, that is it for this week's Learning with Miss Blossom!
